I admittedly know nothing about country music, so my basic understanding of Tim McGraw is limited to he's Faith Hill's husband, and Tug McGraw's kid (I do know baseball, and Faith has done enough pop (well that and I'm not blind) to enter my radar.) So I had no idea he was a Democrat, and a fairly well spoken one at that.
The issues that matter to me are the social safety nets for people, health care, middle-class concerns. We need to take care of the middle class and the poor in our country.
That is exactly why you vote Democrat, and it's good to see somebody with "red state" appeal say it so eloquently.
